TEAMS ARE LISTED (see link below) AFTER THE TEAM ENTRY FEE IS
Corporate teams or team sponsors are shown in parentheses following the team name.
DIVISIONS ARE ABBREVIATED FOLLOWED BY CATEGORY
Open Men's is the default division since additional criteria must be fulfilled to participate
in another division. Categories with less than 5 teams will be combined with another category.
Divisions: C=Corporate (employees of the same company), L=Public Safety/Law Enforcement/Military (active military
or employees of a law enforcement agency), O=Open (minimum age 16), S=Submasters (minimum age 30),
M=Masters (minimum age 40).
Categories: M=Men's (0-5 women), X=Mixed (6-11 women), W=Women's (12 women).
Examples: SM=Submasters Men's, OX=Open Mixed, MM=Masters Men's.
COMPETITIVE (Winning) VS NONCOMPETITIVE (Fun) TEAMS
Competitive: Teams desiring to be recognized as winners for finishing first, second or
third in a division must follow all Rules. Submasters (minimum age 30) and Masters
(minimum age 40) teams must submit a copy of each runner's driver license at the Start..
Noncompetitive: Teams participating for fun (the majority of teams), do not need to maintain the order of
runners submitted on the Roster/Waiver at the start, however, it is logistically advantageous to do so.
START TIMES ARE POSTED AT REGISTERED TEAMS DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF APRIL
To reduce congestion, start times are calculated from runner paces. Captains must instruct runners to enter their
average minute per mile pace for a 10K. Teams that submit inaccurate pace times may start too early, run ahead of
Exchange openings and miss the fun. Teams that finish more than 2 hours ahead of their estimate will be penalized
THERE IS A $100 ($200 after April 10) START TIME REQUEST FEE
because start time issues are time intensive. Include team name, current start and requested start on your check
(payable to The Relay). Adjusted start times will be posted April 20.
THE $600/TEAM MANDATORY FUNDRAISING
FOR ORU IS DUE APRIL 15
so teams can be credited prior to the Start. Captains may view offline fundraising totals on their
