8 AM START AT THE MARIN FRENCH CHEESE COMPANY. Arrive at 7 am for check-in.
Walkers: names must be submitted on the signed Roster/Waiver.
Donation to Organs 'R' Us: Teams that failed to mail the $600/team (minimum) donation to ORU by April 15 may bring donations to the start. (Mailing donations prior to April 15 expedites check-in.) After teams meet the $600 minimum, additional donations may be mailed (after April 15) or turned in at the Start.
Safety: Teams must show 2 blinking lights, 2 flashlights, 2 reflective vests and 2 "CAUTION-WALKER ON ROAD" signs, minimum 17 x 22 inches. Bring or purchase signs ($5 each) at the Start. Write medical history on backs of bibs. Walk Legs are 13-36 (and not 1-24 to avoid issues with emergencies).
Vehicles: 2 vehicles per team are required, maximum 6.5 x 19 feet. No buses, extra vehicles, limousines or motor homes. Vehicles must display team number (provided) on front and rear windows and a rear sign, "CAUTION-WALKER ON ROAD."
Volunteers: If any walker lives within 50 miles of the course, 2 volunteers, age 16 or older, must register online by April 15 for a 4-5 hour shift. Teams with every walker living more than 50 miles from the course are exempt from the volunteer requirement.
