ONLINE ENTRY FOR THE RELAY WALK (Runners register here.)

USE THE ONLINE ENTRY (below) AFTER REVIEWING
the Walker, Walk Captain or Volunteer instructions. New teams will not be accepted after March 1. Walkers may find a team and teams may find walkers on the Matching message board.

CAPTAINS
1. After reviewing Overview, one captain may enter only one team using the Online Entry before March 1. Captains from previous years must enter as New Users.
2. Mail one nonrefundable $720 check for the team payable to The Relay, 570 El Camino Real, Suite 150-330, Redwood City, CA 94063, postmarked by March 1. Payment with more than one check will be returned.
3. After 2 weeks (2 days during March) for processing, confirm entry at Registered Teams. Confirmations will not be mailed.
4. Instruct (up to 11) walkers (by March 8 to avoid $20 late fees) and (2) volunteers (by April 15) to select your exact team name when entering online. If every walker on a team lives more than 50 miles from any part of the course, the volunteer requirement is waived.
5. By April 15, two volunteers, age 16 or older, must register online for a 4-5 hour shift. Assignments are made as volunteers register. Teams will be disqualified if their volunteers fail to show.
6. As a Returning User (requires User Name and Password), captains may view walkers, change divisions, delete walkers (for substitutions) and delete volunteers (to be replaced). Send a check for $25 to retrieve a User Name/Password or change a team name.
7. During the third week of March, start times and Racebooks (with checklists, forms, maps, rules) will be available on this site.
8. The $600 per team ($50 per runner) mandatory fundraising for Organs 'R' Us is easily accomplished by sending the sample email to team members and/or asking an employer to match the entry fee.
WALKERS
1. To join the correct team, confirm your team's entry at Registered Teams.
2. Before March 8 (to avoid $20 late fee), select the exact team name when entering online below as a New User. Thanks for joining California's Longest Party.
VOLUNTEERS
1. Volunteers, age 16 or older, must register online below as New Users for a 4-5 hour shift along the course. Assignments are made as volunteers register. Teams will be disqualified if their volunteers fail to show.
2. Before registering, view Volunteer Entry Information to choose a location and shift.
3. To affiliate with the correct team, confirm entry of your team at Registered Teams and select the exact team name when registering. Select "unaffiliated" if volunteering without a team.
4. As a Returning User (requires User Name and Password) volunteers may change a shift based on availability. Send a check for $25 to retrieve a forgotten User Name or Password.
5. When a captain deletes a volunteer to be replaced, the shift becomes available to the public so the replacement volunteer must register immediately if he/she desires the same shift.
6. After registering, confirm your Volunteer Assignment on this site. Thanks for volunteering during California's Longest Party.

Each New User must enter a unique User Name and Password. Registering more than one walker with the same User Name and Password will erase the previous entry. Please record your User Name and Password to login as a Returning User (see above).
